Job Details

Off Duty's Digital Editor is responsible for scheduling, packaging and publishing Off Duty stories for online platforms, including WSJ.com and mobile.

The Digital Editor heads up digital and platform innovation to create special issues and online-only packages. He or she consults with editors on digital display with SEO, clickiness and shareability in mind.

Additionally, the Digital Editor tracks the web traffic of all Off Duty stories using the Parse.ly data-metrics tool--producing regular traffic reports for editors to help them tailor content for both print and mobile audiences, and refine their digital-display practices.

Applicants should have at least two years of digital-publishing experience and be versed in CMS software, SEO, social-media strategy, analytics and have a basic knowledge of the Adobe suite.
