PR Account Director - B2B Focus

An award-winning boutique PR agency is looking for a highly motivated Account Director with expertise in corporate profiling and thought leadership to join its thriving team in East London. This role will focus on B2B PR for a truly interesting range of clients including start-ups and entrepreneurs. This role will also involve some consumer work.

You will play an integral role within this ambitious team, taking responsibility for the successful running of your assigned accounts as well as helping to drive the agency forward and build on its ongoing success. You will help to manage the team and you will be responsible for ensuring client work is delivered on time and on brief and that budgets are adhered to. You will be the first port of call for clients and will be responsible for building strong relationships and gaining their trust by demonstrating an in-depth understanding of their business and delivering outstanding work. In addition to account work, you will play a proactive role in new business activity, working with the senior team to develop pitches as well as attending the pitches.

To be considered for this position you must have solid B2B PR experience gained from working in an agency and have experience/interest in campaigns targeting start-ups/founders. In addition, you must be a strong account handler with solid team management experience and excellent client handling skills.
