The National, Picture Editor (Abu Dhabi)

The National is seeking an experienced Picture Editor who is interested in being part of a multi-cultural team of journalists from all over the English-speaking world. We are looking for creative, hardworking individuals with a love of journalism and a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will have experience of running a busy digital/print Picture Desk and have experience of managing a team of both Photographers and Picture Editors/Researchers.

The National is a digital-first organisation and requires somebody with experience of digital visual storytelling, coordinating with multimedia and running a lively and informative Instagram stream as well as other social media.

Applications are invited from Picture Editors or Deputy Picture Editors looking for a chance to take on more responsibility and help keep The National at the forefront of the region’s photography and design.

The Picture Editor works closely with the Creative Director and Editors in our vibrant newsroom in Abu Dhabi.
