Freelance Principal Medical Writer - Home-based

We are currently recruiting for a home-based Freelance Principal Medical Writer opportunity with a well-respected independent Medical Education provider. This role will be for 3-4 days a week and the company is looking for candidates who can be flexible around the days they work and are able to travel on site to Europe and the US.

You will be responsible for producing a wide range of materials, from slide presentations and agendas for satellite symposia through to proposals and website copy. You will lead the delivery of assigned activities including taking responsibility for the development process, review, approval and adherence to timelines. You will be responsible for ensuring your materials are of the highest quality, scientifically accurate, appropriate to the target audience, meet the educational objectives and adhere to industry guidelines.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

*Significant medical writing experience, ideally gained from working within an agency (IME experience would be an advantage)
*Educated to degree level in a Life Science subject
*Experience in proposal development and website copy creation
*Proven ability to learn new therapy areas quickly
*Solid organisational and planning skills
*Creative mindset
