Are you looking for a sub-editor role in a dynamic, socially conscious business at the heart of the school sector? Can you edit digital content to uphold the highest standards of quality? Accuracy? Practical value?

The Key is looking for a sub-editor with digital content experience to join us in delivering up-to-the minute sector intelligence and resources to school leaders and governors. You’ll be helping over 120,000 education leaders take decisive action in their schools.

The role

You will:

  • Edit digital content in line with our brand, tone of voice guidelines and style guide
  • Rigorously check content for accuracy and practical value
  • Work collaboratively with our content writers, giving constructive challenge and support to help them improve their work
  • Work at pace, prioritising carefully and making excellent editorial decisions


The person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of sub-editing digital content
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work to high standards and make good decisions under pressure
  • Commitment to uncompromising standards in published content
  • Knowledge or interest in the education sector in England
