The National is looking for a Designer / Graphic Artist with at least two years’ design experience, preferably in a newspaper environment working across both Print and Digital. The need to work in both Design and Graphics is essential.

The successful applicant should have a knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and be an expert in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Some experience of animation programmes would also be an advantage but not essential.

A keen eye for detail, the ability to stick to tight deadlines and a friendly personality are all needed as well as a creative approach to editorial design.
