ACCOUNT DIRECTOR | Issues, behavioural change

Looking to make difference? We are looking for an Account Director who is passionate about consumer issues and behavioural change and really wants their PR work to have an impact on people’s lives. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning agency that has developed numerous fresh, innovative campaigns and has won over 70 industry awards in public sector work across education, skills training, health and not-for profit. On the back of exciting new business growth they are looking for an Account Director to join the team – this is a fantastic opportunity to have real team responsibility, have an impact on the agency growth and lead on attention grabbing, impactful campaigns.

The Role

• Managing a team of around 6 and working alongside the Head of Practice
• Developing and delivering on the strategy of the campaigns
• Hands on media input and producing content across a variety of channels
• Being the client lead and offering counsel at senior level
• Leading and initiation new business
• Managing large scale national events

Candidate specification

• Have a real passion for working on consumer issues campaigns
• Experience of working in these sectors (education, skills, health, not for profit) would be an advantage but not essential
• Track record of delivering on national, impactful campaigns
• Team management experience and be a capable people manager
• Skilled in new business
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Be creative and strategically savvy
• Have a very confident, outgoing personality, with a hands on approach
• Independent and entrepreneurial working style
