Job Details

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a talented New York-based editor to work with our San Francisco tech team.

The right candidate will be able to size up and edit news and also rally reporting and graphics resources to ensure we are delivering best-of-class coverage.

We are looking for someone with excellent judgment who can handle all sorts of edits, from quick-turnaround stories to art pieces to major moving stories that could emerge as the biggest news of the day.

Candidates should be creative problem solvers who can work well with all types across coasts.

The job also involves honchoing some promotional and packaging efforts of our work, and helping to manage our outstanding tech newsletter. It's a great opportunity to be part of one of the Journal's most-vibrant bureaus.

We are looking for an experienced news or coverage editor (at least three years) or a reporter eager to make the switch. Tech reporting or editing experience is a plus but not required; excitement to learn the subject is.
