Job Details

Are you a reporter starting out in their career with a passion for digital journalism? If so, we may have a job for you.

Civil Society News is a daily email bulletin covering the charity sector. We're part of a specialist company which produces three print magazines, events and training aimed at people who work in charities.

We’re looking for a junior reporter to work primarily online, but also to contribute to our magazines and events. You’ll be writing daily news and analysis and attending events.

Alongside that, an important part of your role will be helping to manage our online activity, from uploading and formatting magazine content on civilsociety.co.uk to running our social media.

The role would suit a newly-qualified journalist looking for their first position. We're committed to diversity, so people of all backgrounds should feel encouraged to apply.

Apply by completing the application form below with a CV, covering letter and examples of published writing. We will be shortlisting and interviewing as soon as we receive suitable applications and may appoint before the deadline passes if we find the right candidate.
