Are you a Sales Manager with a passion for music and experience selling into the education market?  This Sales Manager position, based in central London, is an exciting new role with the largest global publisher of educational and popular music resources.  You will bring your musical background and commercial ability to this pivotal role delivering growth strategy for sales of educational products across the UK and Europe.

Sales Manager Key duties:

  • Lead and deliver sales growth strategy for educational products across the UK and Europe
  • Manage, lead and develop some members of the sales and marketing team
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers in the music education market, including exam boards, press and institutions
  • Work with the territory sales team to ensure delivery of localised marketing in line with educational product marketing
  • Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of the music education market and feedback trends and new product ideas to the Publishing team
  • Plan and attend relevant conferences, events, exhibitions and workshops to represent the company

Sales Manager Experience / skills required:

  • A strong musical academic background or equivalent ability or experience
  • Ideally experience in music education or educational publishing
  • Sales and target oriented with a passion for music
  • Direct commercial experience of selling into the education market
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, flexible office environment and quickly understand the products
