Online Mortgage Advisor, Financial Writer

Online Mortgage Advisor is one of the leading specialist mortgage websites in the UK, providing fresh and up to date advice for visitors in need of help with mortgages and other finance. OMA is the go-to in the industry and regularly comments in trade and national press as experts on all things mortgages.

We are looking for experienced financial writers to join our young team of financial experts, to assist in generating tailored and detailed content for consumers, appearing on various publications with which we are associated, including national press, trades, and our own websites - which include mortgages, insurance, pensions, and all manner of financial services products, both nationally and internationally.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Experienced in (or has a solid grasp of) financial services.
• Experienced as a copywriter / journalist.
• Have excellent with written English, ideally with qualifications or a background in writing and language.
• Hard-working, pro active, driven, self-motivated, and able to deliver high quality finished articles to strict deadlines.
• Creative and dedicated to providing great, fresh and unique original content for consumers.
• Able to research, learn and adapt to new areas of expertise quickly.
• A positive and happy character to fit in with the rest of our lovely team!

The role:

• £20-£25k (depending on experience & ability).

• Flexible full-time working hours (from one of our offices in Derby, with the option to work from home where appropriate).

Experience:

• Financial services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Paid writing: 2 years (Preferred)
