Working on our market-leading portfolio of children’s magazines, this role requires an individual who can develop our editorial strategy and inspire our editorial teams to deliver editorial excellence.

As a member of the Magazines Management Team, the Head of Editorial will be responsible for leading our editorial teams and ensuring our editorial content is created to the highest possible quality whilst delivering against our commercial goals.

As Head of Editorial, you will be responsible for ensuring our editorial content delivers for the consumer and the commercial needs of our business whilst adapting to a fast-paced and changing environment.

You will need the ability to manage and coach the editorial team to develop their commercial publishing skills, children’s expertise and market knowledge as well as work in close partnership with the Commercial Director and a range of departments, including Global divisions and publishing teams, to implement and deliver the publishing plan.

This is an exciting role that requires an experienced, creative and confident individual who can build strong working relationships and has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have been working in a creative environment, preferably within a publishing or media organisation.

Experience of the children’s market is an advantage but not essential. Reporting to the Commercial Director, our ideal candidate will be professional and self-motivated, with an impressive record of accomplishment in their previous roles.
