Job Details

The Wall Street Journal is looking for an intern to join its Africa bureau in Johannesburg for six months.

This is a great opportunity to learn the trade at one of the world's leading business publications and work alongside a group of experienced correspondents.

Successful candidates will have an interest in financial and economic journalism, be familiar with political and other news in South Africa and be able to share some published writing samples.

The intern will learn to cover key economic indicators, company earnings and interest-rate decisions by the South African Reserve Bank and get a chance to write news and feature articles for the Journals print and online editions.

Candidates who speak three or more South African languages preferred.

This is a paid position with three working days per week.
