PR Account Director - Life Sciences

An international communications consultancy has an opening for PR Account Director within its Life Sciences division based in London. The Account Director will be the day-to-day lead across a portfolio of Life Sciences and Biotech accounts.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

*Devising, planning and managing the implementation, media strategy and outreach of PR projects
*Managing and motivating account teams
*Overseeing account budgets and resourcing
*Managing client relationships and advising clients when necessary
*Content management of design-led projects such as literature and websites
*Reviewing and editing press materials
*Fostering relationships with key media contacts

To be considered for this position you must have a strong science/healthcare background coupled with experience at SAM or AD level gained from working in an agency or relevant in-house experience. You must possess excellent media relations skills and have a thorough understanding of the UK media environment. In addition, you must be a strong leader with proven experience in managing and supporting junior teams on a range of projects and accounts.
