PR Account Manager - Life Sciences

An international communications consultancy is seeking an experienced PR Account Manager to join its growing Life Sciences division. The successful applicant will manage an exciting portfolio of Life Science and Biotech accounts.

Working across a diverse and varied range of projects, the PR Account Manager will be responsible for:

*Managing the implementation, media strategy and outreach of PR projects
*Planning day-to-day account activity and project timelines
*Content management of design-led projects such as literature and websites
*Building and managing relationships with key journalists
*Establishing strong relationships with clients and maintaining regular contact
*Managing the account team
*Managing project budgets
*Copywriting

The PR Account Manager will also play a key role in business development by actively seeking out new opportunities and pitching to prospective clients. They will also identify areas for growth within existing accounts based on the client's wider business objectives and industry developments.

To be considered for this position you must be an accomplished PR professional with a solid background in healthcare/life science/biotech PR and marketing. In addition, you must possess excellent writing skills with experience in producing a wide variety of press materials to tight deadlines. Experience of working on product launches would be beneficial.
