You will be tasked with writing and editing a wide range of stories within the space, ensuring you remain factual and accurate in your writing and editing competencies.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of varying science and technology topics
• Demonstratable experience of being able to work in a high-pressured environment
• Previous experience working in online publishing
• Experience managing professionals and providing editorial direction
• Strong copy skills and an eye for dissecting academic journals

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be managing a small team of reporters where you will provide editorial direction on science and tech topics. You will be responsible for compiling a list of features and articles across a broad range of science and tech topics.

Your day-to-day will involve daily conferences with professionals across the business in order to understand the wider business and expand on your knowledge within the space.

As the Science and Tech Editor, you will be required to provide factually correct and accurate articles on said topics. It is imperative that you are eager and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in such an environment is an absolute must have.
