Job Details
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketer who has a passion for Children’s books to join a growing but established Children’s publisher. The role will be responsible for the marketing initiatives of three successful imprints and is a great opportunity to help drive the growth of a great company with brilliant products. The role is based in Suffolk and is easily commutable from Essex, Norfolk or surrounding areas.
Children's Marketing Manager Key duties:
- Use innovative and creative marketing methods to promote three imprints through direct-to-consumer channels
- Identify any areas for growth and provide guidance to take advantage of them
- Prepare product launches to maximise impact
- Oversee the development of promotional materials and other marketing assets
- Plan events to promote books, authors and brands
- Maintain excellent competitor knowledge to inform and drive marketing strategy
- Report regularly on sales and marketing activity to senior stakeholders
- Create presentations for key clients, acting as the marketing representative in pivotal meetings
Children's Marketing Manager Experience / skills required:
- A passion for Children’s books and the wider publishing industry
- Experience in publishing and strong contacts within this and the bookselling industry
- Experience of setting marketing strategies
- Strong experience in creating innovative and original integrated publication campaigns
- Excellent communication, influence and interpersonal skills
