PR Account Director - Consumer Health & Issues

We are looking for a PR Account Director with consumer health & well being experience for an opportunity within an independent PR and digital communications agency based in London. This role will cover an exciting and interesting range of clients including a global consumer health brand and a European industry association.

You will be the day-to-day account lead and client relationship manager and will be responsible for managing the delivery of client programmes. You will work closely with the team to develop campaign ideas and will be involved in producing high quality content. You will be responsible for managing, supporting and coaching the junior team and will support the directors with business development activity. You will also be involved with issues management including drafting messaging and statements and managing media enquiries.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

*Solid experience in the consumer health & well being sector gained from working in a PR agency
*In-depth understanding of how the media operates and an eye for spotting opportunities
*Team management experience
*Excellent client handling skills
*Keen eye for detail
