Job Details

Our client is a key membership association, looking for a Communications Executive to join their team. Based in central London, you would be responsible for contributing to the development of the communication programmes and activities, enhancing the organisation’s reputation through pro-active and reactive communications. 

The salary level for this role is £27,500, depending on experience.

Key duties:

  • Research and write pro-active story ideas and case studies, posting them on the company website, social media channels and the national, regional and trade press
  • Draft and distribute news releases, write reactive statements and comments to breaking news
  • Monitor local, national and industry publications and assist in the development of key messages
  • Assist in campaigns and produce media briefing materials
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and maximise multi-media opportunities
  • Update social media channels with relevant and up-to-date engaging content

Experience / skills required:

  • Previous experience within a Communications, PR or Marketing role
  • Proven writing experience with the ability to deliver quality copy quickly
  • Media handling and press release experience
  • Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and communications skills with a strong attention to detail
