Content Manager - B2B Tech - London

The B2B & Tech Content Marketing team within one of the UK's most well-respected technology PR agencies, is looking for an exceptional content manager with a passion for business media, to deliver sparkling copy, stand-out content ideas and superior standards that can set our agency and clients apart.

A key part of the role is having a deep understanding of the B2B and IT industries and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and their context within the overall business environment. This covers everything from hardware (laptops, printers, etc.) to digital transformation, cloud-based platforms and IT services. You will develop engaging medium and long-form content assets that connect with technology and B2B audiences and communicate specific marketing messages. E.g. thought leadership articles, whitepapers, ebooks and brochures.


To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:


*Graduate, ideally with a degree in journalism or a creative discipline, with minimum 2:1 grade
*Experience working at a B2B technology title or within a marketing/PR agency, writing for B2B technology clients
*A proven history in creating hard-hitting and impactful editorial content
*Experience working with multi-media content, ideally a keen watcher of new and emerging content marketing formats and techniques
*Natural talent for storytelling and experience structuring copy to capture and retain interest
*Proficient at interpreting and following briefs
*Experience interviewing subject matter experts
*Microsoft Office literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
*Effective verbal communication skills - confident to liaise directly with clients and prospects
*Familiarity with the concept of the B2B buyer's journey
