Dow Jones Newswires is seeking a coding editor to join the coding team in South Brunswick, NJ, which is responsible for ensuring quality coding on headlines and stories published to wires.

This fast-paced position entails quickly tagging published headlines and stories with essential and enhanced metadata that allows financial professionals to take action on real-time news.

Coding editors also play an important quality-control role, by among other things, monitoring content on various platforms to ensure stories are flowing to subscribers; making corrections to stories when necessary; and sending feedback to WSJ and Newswires editors to improve coding quality.

Coding editors also collect and publish commodities and economic-forecast data; work on special projects; and publish original Dow Jones content.
