Job Details
The Pharmaceutical Journal Publications, a division owned by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and a leading publisher in pharmacy practice and science, is looking to appoint a Chief Subeditor to manage the editorial production team which comprises of an Art Editor and three Subeditors.
You will manage publishing schedules, liaising with all our editorial team to ensure the efficient flow of content through our various workflows. Working with the Managing Editor, you will strive to improve how our content is discovered and experienced. You will liaise with suppliers, including printers paper merchants to manage the production of various publication on schedule and within budget.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience of journal publishing processes (especially STM publishing) who naturally possesses top class writing, copyediting and proofreading skills, and who also has acquired a good understanding of the healthcare sector.
