Job Details
Are you a hard-working, experienced and ambitious reporter? Building magazine has an opportunity for two reporters to join its talented news team.
Building is a respected B2B title for the construction industry and built environment, with a proud 175-year history.
The ideal candidates will be dynamic journalists with a proven track record as reporters. Knowledge of the construction sector is welcome but not essential, but you do need to be a story-getter with plenty of scoops under your belt.
You will break off-diary, exclusive news stories in construction, housing, architecture and other areas of built environment business and policy. You will contribute to rolling news on Building.co.uk, daily digital newsletters and the weekly print edition.
The full-time roles will also involve writing news features – including long-form analysis pieces, profiles and interviews.
We need team players who can get to grips with a wide range of complex topics – from legal spats, to regulations updates, to finding out who will be building the latest skyscraper or football stadium.
There is excellent opportunity for progression within this agile Shoreditch-based company.
Please send applications by completing the application form below.
Closing date: Friday 11 October
