H2O Publishing is searching for the ideal candidate to become the Features Editor of Casual Dining Magazine and Pub & Bar – its leading monthly restaurant and pub trade titles.

As Features Editor, you will be responsible for researching and writing the core features within both magazines, which vary from focuses on food and drink, to trends and kitchen equipment.

As well as this, you will be expected to constantly monitor food, drink and restaurant/pub/bar activity across the UK, and reflect your knowledge and findings within your writing across print and digital platforms.

You will be in regular contact with trade PRs and suppliers, establishing the vital relationships needed to create entirely polished content for the titles across all of its sections and enhance the events hosted by the company.

As well as this, you will need to quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of the eating out sector, building key relationships with leading operators and restaurateurs in the market.

You will be expected to contribute daily online news stories, while keeping social media channels targeted, engaging and updated.

As well as delivering fresh-thinking articles that meet the content strategy of the editorial director, you should be willing to regularly attend evening events and launches. These are predominantly based in London, but you will be encouraged to travel the country and even abroad on occasions.

These are just a couple of perks to a role that offers fast progression for the right person.
