Job Details

This is not your usual Analyst role, it’s a hybrid position that involves using analytical skills to spot trends and investment opportunities in the equity markets.

The role involves combing through transcripts, stock exchange filings, analyst reports and news stories to spot events that could move prices in the equity markets, with a focus on M&A.

My client publishes a daily newsletter read by many of the worlds top fund managers, investment banks and law firms and you will be writing short analysis pieces based on a combination of your research and ability to recognise any investable opportunities buried in the various sources you look through.

The role will suit someone who has natural curiosity, some experience working with or writing about equities and investments and good writing skills.

You will be working closely with experienced journalists, so they will help you develop your ideas into stories, but it’s the ideas that are where you add value.

You will be joining a large, multi-national business publisher with a large portfolio of successful products catering for a professional, global audience. My client offers good training, as well as great career progression.
