MailOnline, the world’s largest English-language newspaper website with over 200 million monthly unique visitors globally, is looking for an experienced and talented reporter to join the London showbusiness desk.

Suitable candidates will have experience in showbusiness writing gained on national or well-established local newspapers, magazines or websites with an impressive track record of finding and breaking exclusive stories of national and global interest.

Applicants must be able to deliver vibrant, clean copy to very tight deadlines for this office-based role.

Requirements include:

  • NCTJ or equivalent qualification
  • Solid newspaper, magazine or news website experience
  • Ability to generate own showbusiness stories
  • Keen eye for photographs
  • Ability to write strong headlines and engaging captions
  • Flexibility regarding shift patterns
