Job Details
Are you an experienced B2B Editor and strong leader? Are you looking to join a fast-growing publisher and produce high-quality content for a specialist market? This opportunity might be just the right move for you! Based in West Yorkshire, this Head of Content will manage a team of journalists and analysts producing industry news, opinion pieces and reports. As part of the senior management team, this role will drive the content strategy of this fast-growing B2B information company.
Key duties:
- Create and drive content strategy, producing engaging market intelligence and editorial insight
- Lead, coach, develop and support a team of 20 journalists and analysts
- Set objectives to improve productivity and identify training needs
- Engage with customers and keep up to date with industry trends to produce useful and relevant content
- Ensure quality standards and schedules are met, and oversee budget
Experience / skills required:
- Solid editorial/analyst experience in a B2B publishing environment, market intelligence or information provider
- Experience line-managing and developing a team is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence to achieve goals
- Excellent writing and editing skills on a variety of content
- Experience leading a B2B content strategy and overseeing budgets
- Approachable leader able to adapt management style to get the best out of different personalities
- Ability to travel internationally
