The role

Our client is looking for a Director to join their corporate division, taking a lead on existing clients, as well as helping the head of the division to grow the team via new business and organic growth.

Clients of the team include a leading aerospace manufacturer, a national broadcaster, a sporting charity, an global energy company and an FMCG brand. The work involves multi-channel, campaigning programmes aimed at corp-sumer audiences. The work is corporate reputation / brand building, not financial calendar work or public affairs.

As it's a new role, there's a huge scope for moulding the role around the right person and would suit an entrepreneurial leader, that's excited to develop a team with the support of the wider group.

Skills:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience working in corporate PR
• Must currently be working, or very recently have worked, in a PR agency
• Ideally some experience across energy, tech or manufacturing
• The ability to lead clients in terms of strategic direction and client
• Strong planning, organisational, financial and team management skills
• Strong media and stakeholder relations skills
• An integrated skill set, with an understanding of the full marcomms mix
• A track record of securing client confidence by providing expert counsel and delivering quality media coverage.
