Job Details

The Wall Street Journal is looking for an energetic, enterprising reporter to cover technology from our hub in Hong Kong.

The job is focused on the market trends, opportunities and challenges facing U.S. technology companies in Asia.

You will be expected to break news and identify trends affecting some of the most important companies on the planet in an environment where some of those companies have faced their deepest challenges.

Asia isn't just another place in which Western tech companies operate. It is the 4.5 billion-person market where their global growth ambitions will succeed or fail.

It is a giant source of users for services like WhatsApp and a battleground for subscribers and original programming for streaming services like Netflix. And it is where companies face a jumble of new national regulations that are starting to splinter the Internet.

We are looking for a reporter with a track record of distinguished work covering technology and a wealth of ideas for where to look next. You also need to be a team player who can partner with beat reporters in the U.S. and our bureaus across Asia.

Dow Jones offers an opportunity to work for one of the world's leading financial and business news companies.

We invite interested candidates to click 'APPLY' to submit a cover letter, detailed resume and expected salary.
